Practical Task “Measure within the virtual laboratory” II

Task

First of all, download the protocol document (Word) Word Document Task II description/protocol

Create an electrical circuit with series connection of two resistance. Please, keep in mind the current measurements from the beginning.

  1. Both resistances should be the same.
    Measure the current before the first resistance (I1), between the first and second resistance (I2), and after the second resistance (I3). Furthermore, measure the voltage of the first resistance (U1), of the second resistance (U2) and of both resistances (Uges).Record your values in the protocol, screen shot your circuit and insert the screenshot in your protocol.
  2. Both resistances should not be the same (increased by a multiple of at least five).
    List the value of the resistances (R1) and (R2) in the protocol. Measure the current before the first resistance (I1), between the first and second resistance (I2) and after the second resistance (I3). Furthermore, measure the voltage of the first resistance (U1), of the second resistance (U2) and of both resistances (Uges).
    Record your values in the protocol, screen shot you circuit and insert the screenshot in your protocol.
  3.  How big is the total resistance of the circuit? (Imagine both resistances in a black box and calculate the resistance of this black box.)
    Fill in your values the fields “total resistance 1. measurement” and “total resistance 2. measurement” this value in the protocol.

 

Measuring Report

Record all wanted values in the measuring protocol. Answer the questions in the protocol and upload your protocol (which includes two screenshots) after finishing your work.

Through uploading your complete protocol, the measurement is finished. Save the measurement protocol as it is part of your transcription.
