This Open Online Course offers an approach to the Virtual Teachers' Toolbox and the developed tols and content.
The course is self-directed and structured as a sefl-learning course. You can enroll and repeat each chapter as often you like.
The self-evaluation part at the end of each chapter offers you the possibility to find out if you have got the necessary knowledge to use the project's results and output.
This chapter describes the pedagogical framework developed in the frame of the project. This framework is available as a PDF-format from the project's webpage /www.vtt-box.eu.
It offers a simple and short approach to the developed pedagogical approach. The main focus is on active learning, which is a column in the developed outcomes.
Aczive learning means a shift in the roles (and needs also a shift in the mindset of learners and teachers/trainers):
Teacher → facilitator of the learner, the former passive learner→ active, collaborative learner.
Quality matters - there is no daubt!
This chapter offers a quality enhance framework (based on the studies of the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities. This framework can be found on the web page of the EADTU and is called e-Xcellence.
