Topic outline
- The line in the Cartesian plane
A line doesn’t have ends and it always goes to the same direction: it is straight, it has not curves
and always go to the same point.
Let’s use a small letter like r, for example, to name lines.
You can draw a line different orientation: it can be horizontal, vertical or orizontal.

- The line in the Cartesian plane

This is a quiz on the line in the cartesian plan.
You have 30 minutes to complete this quiz.
AIMS

- To grasp the existence of a mathematical correlation between an equation and a diagram;
- Being able to elaborate and interpret graphic representations;
- Develop the ability to solve a geometric problem (concerning the straight line) through the use of equations and systems;
- To be able to represent the linear function in the Cartesian plane, identifying its characteristic parameters;
- Knowing how to link algebraic results and geometric analyzes carried out in the Cartesian plane;
- Solving simple problems of belonging and intersection.
